Extra cool points for anyone who knew what this post was about before looking! Canadians are excluded because they don't have Target stores yet and therefore are off the hook. The best store ever is coming my friends... just you wait! I read on Wikipedia that they're taking over former Zellers stores. And since you guys are not fortunate to have these fantastic commercials, please watch my favorite one. It's short. And fantastic.{But can you guys even see this in Canada? Dang.}
Also, because I'm all nostalgic and schools are starting back up, I figured this would be my tribute. I had a small feeling of jealousy again the other day for not going back to school as a full time teacher. I know that I'm doing what is best right now, but I haven't felt like that since last August when I was well into my pregnancy with Andrew. The middle school kiddies on my block are back and I saw them today in their schnazzy new school clothes. Remember setting them out when you were a kid? Or even better, sleeping in them and laying completely still so you wouldn't crease them? Cmon, you know you did.
Well, I did.

Love that commercial! All teachers should be that fun and enthusiastic. :)
Love that commercial and the one with the music teacher!!! "denim"
This is not the vacation post that was promised...why do you tease us?!? ;)
I did watch the commercial though...I will admit pretty cute! I do love Target so. I will rely on you to post funny commercials. It occured to me that I wasn't familiar with this one or any others for that matter...ever since dvr I refuse to watch live television haha
Best store ever is right, love the Tar-jay!
Also I think its adorable that you slept in your new school clothes the night before the first day. I would always lay them out like 3 days in advance and then cave and wear them the weekend before school started...
I feel like this is a shout out to me. hahaha
We don't yet have Tar-Jay, but we are definitely getting it and I'm definitely excited. I keep hoping the Zellers down the street will become one, but apparently I'm not quite that lucky just yet.
bah.
We do not have this commercial here, yet.
Ps I used to lay out my new clothes for the first day of school on the floor the night before. I once had a SWEET green sueded vest to wear over a floral turtleneck shirt. I paired with with jeans and my purple suede LA gears.
Go ahead and be jealous.. ha
